Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was a player for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana on the sidelines for many years prior to making her return to rugby league. Allana was a star at the helm of New South Wales during her first women's Rugby League match against Queensland and participated in the 2015 season. Allana also has radio in her CV, and has made frequent appearances on 2GB's top-rated Continuous Call Team. Allana Ferguson is an experienced instructor outside of the sports world. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of representing Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos athlete who played an extensive period of rugby league was forced to close her playing career before the age of 25 after she tore her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson had already torn ligaments in her same knee at the ages of 15 and 17 but following the third tear the game was over for the 25-year-old. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth-year ACL injured, had to quit early. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she was injured during training in November. She has been a player in the women's rugby league for several seasons.
